God calls everyone to contemplate Him in the mysteries of His love and the wonders of His creation. The contemplative life is for all. But some feel a desire to serve God in consecrated religious life. That desire is the first and most important condition. Good mental and physical health are also necessary. The ability to be able to relate well with others and real maturity are also indications that God might be calling you to this particular way of serving Him and His church.
