We are Sisters Adorers of the Precious Blood, Daughters of Mary Immaculate.

We live an enclosed, contemplative life, dedicating our lives to prayer. Called to a way of sanctity rooted in the wisdom of the past, yet adapted to needs of our present day, we enjoy both the privileges and obligations which attend community living.

We earn our livelihood by various works: the distribution of altar breads; spiritual enrollment cards; printing of prayers and mailing of articles of Precious Blood devotion; correspondence with those who ask for our prayers.

In order to live more fruitfully the vows of consecrated chastity, poverty and obedience, our Founders encouraged us to embrace Adoration, Reparation and Suffering with Fidelity, Constancy and Generosity.

Realizing how much the Church depends upon the intercessory prayer of its contemplatives, our orientation is toward complete self-giving as we implore the mercy of the Blood of Christ upon the entire world. Prayer for priests – in particular those of our own diocese of Ogdensburg – is of foremost importance in our daily devotions.

One with the Heart of Christ, we fulfill our missions of spreading the Good News: “Christ the Son of God has redeemed us with His Precious Blood. Come, let us adore!”
