Message Going Worldwide
The DVD on the life of Catherine Aurelia Caouette, foundress
of the Community of the Sisters Adorers of the Precious
Blood, is scheduled to be broadcast to viewers throughout
the world
The
global Catholic cable TV network, EWTN,
signed a five-year contract to broadcast the program,
beginning in January 2007. EWTN transmits 24 hour programming
to 118 million homes in 127 countries and 16 territories
on cable, satellite, and low-power TV.
The network's television programming reaches audiences
in North America, Europe, Africa, and Central and South
America, and is also available through the Internet.
In addition, EWTN offers 24-hour AM/FM short-wave radio
programming.
The
Life & Legacy of Mother Catherine Aurelia Caouette,
a 44 minute video program, was produced by the American
Federation of Sisters Adorers of the Precious Blood
under the direction of Sister Marilyn McGillan of the
Watertown NY monastery and Sister Adelina Hill of the
Precious Blood monastery in Manchester NH. Sister Adelina
directed the video. The DVD was completed in the Spring
of 2006 with distribution to be handled by both the
Manchester, NH and Watertown, NY monasteries.
Sales of the DVD have been brisk and supplies are limited,
